We are looking for a talented individual who shares our values to join our team as Payroll/Foreign Payables Clerk. This position reports to the Accountant.

THE ROLE:

The Payroll/Foreign Payables Clerk’s primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Submit weekly payroll hours and create payroll journal vouchers.
  • Generate vouchers for overseas invoices and prepare payments.
  • Enter overseas invoices, customs warrants and receiving reports.
  • Maintain foreign voucher files.
  • Review and reconcile statements from overseas suppliers.
  • Scan completed documents according to an index system.

QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • An Associate Degree in Accounting, Business or Management.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in the Accounting field.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, numeracy and IT skills.
  • Customer-focused.
  • The ability to work under pressure and be accurate.
  • Previous payroll experience would be an asset.
