Melissa joined HIPAC family as Production Manager in June 2019, with a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering, from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. While completing her degree, Melissa was on a full track scholarship, where she was the 60m sprint champion and a part of the 4x100m record breaking team. Her engineering career began in the Fire Protection Engineering industry where she worked for three (3) years, before furthering her education and completing her MBA in Management.  Upon completion, Melissa returned to Barbados where she then began her career in the Food and Beverage Manufacturing industry.

Recognized as a true result driven, values-oriented leader, Melissa leverages her in-depth knowledge of manufacturing and engineering systems, to significantly increase yields and operational efficiency. She is skilled at closing departmental gaps, to drive process improvements in lean operating environments.

While working for some well-known Bajan brands previously, Melissa is proud to claim the Farmer’s Choice brand as her very own and the best.
