Veggie Hotdog Chowmein

Ingredients

  • 2 Farmer’s Choice Veggie Hotdogs 
  • 1 carrot (medium) 
  • 1/4 red pepper 
  • 1 onion (small)
  • 1 corn (small can) 
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil 
  • Red cabbage 
  • Broccoli
  • 1 pack of Chowmein
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper 
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano 
  • 1/4 tsp cumin 
  • 1 tsp soy sauce 

Preparation Instructions

  1. Chop veggie hotdogs 1/4 inch thick, chop the carrot, red pepper, broccoli, red cabbage and onion to your liking then rest aside.  
  2. In a large pot add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil, salt and pepper to taste and bring to a boil. Add the chowmein and let it boil for 5-6 minutes then strain.  
  3. Heat a large non-stick frying pan add the vegetable oil and your chopped vegetables, corn, spices and sauté until fragrant. Add the veggie hotdogs and fry them for approximately 6-8 minutes. 
  4. Add chowmein and soy sauce to the pan, mix together and serve!
